DANYC Intergroup serves all DA groups meeting in the greater New York area by coordinating the meeting list, website, phone meeting list, special events, and DA conference approved publications.  

Intergroup is supported by contributions from local groups (See the Suggested Group Contribution Policy below) as well as from personal contributions from members.

Intergroup meetings take place on the last Thursday of the month from 6:45 to 8:45 pm. All DA members are welcome to attend. Meetings are held at the Crossroads Church, 410 West 45th St., New York, NY. The nearest subway stop is 44th St. & 8th Ave. (A,C,E)

Intergroup is made up of 16 elected positions in addition to 2 individuals elected or appointed to represent each meeting.  All positions require 6 months solvency and 2 pressure relief meetings.

General Service Representatives

General Service Representatives elected from each Debtors Anonymous Group coordinate service for the international fellowship of Debtors Anonymous. Monthly meeings of the NYarea GSRs take place on the last Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30pm. The first and second month each quarter are phone meetings: Conference Call dial-in 605-475-5900 access code 520378#. The last month each quarter is an in-person meeting at the Crossroads Church, 410 West 45th St., New York, NY. (between 9th/10th Aves.) 2017 in-person meetings are March 29th, June 28th, September 27th, and December 27th. Location is Wheelchair Accessable. Suggested Group Contribution Policy

After each group has paid expenses (rent, literature, etc.), and a prudent reserve is retained in the treasury, the balance can be contributed to DA service bodies.

It is suggested that

45% of the balance be sent to NY Area DA Intergroup, checks payable to DA Intergroup, at the following address:
